Who are dentures for?
Dentures are one of the most versatile and affordable treatment options available to replace missing teeth. They suit people for whom more expensive restorative options such as implants or bridges are difficult financially, and people for whom those treatments are not clinically appropriate — where there is gum disease, for example.
Standard full cosmetic dentures
These are complete upper and lower sets of teeth, designed to look natural while remaining durable. They are held in place by suction and made from a specially-adapted acrylic resin material, which makes adhesion to the gums easier.
Bear in mind that the jaw bone changes shape over the years, so a full denture will need adjusting — and eventually replacing — to keep fitting well.
Partial dentures
A partial denture replaces only the teeth you are missing and is supported by your remaining natural teeth as well as your gums. That extra support makes it much more secure than a full denture, and usually more comfortable to wear.
Valplast flexible dentures
Valplast dentures are lighter, stronger, and may blend in better with the natural tissue tone than conventional alternatives. Instead of visible metal clasps they use tissue-coloured clasps which are translucent and cause no wear on your existing teeth.

How much do dentures cost?
Partial dentures start from £650 (1–3 teeth) or £750 (4 or more teeth), a full single denture is £1,050 and a full upper and lower set is £2,100. Chrome dentures start from £1,500. Relines are £130, additions £105 per unit and repairs from £120.
Can you repair a broken denture quickly?
