Cosmetic dentistry in Peterborough
Whitening, veneers, same-day crowns, bonding and clear aligners — used sparingly, and in the right order, to make your own teeth look like themselves on a good day.
A smile makeover means redesigning an existing smile — improving how it looks and, often, how it works. It might address crowded teeth, gaps, discolouration, the shape of individual teeth, or missing teeth. It can involve a wide range of treatments and any number of teeth, and for a good many people it is a single treatment rather than a plan.

The most common thing we say in a cosmetic consultation is that less treatment will do. Whitening evens out colour without touching the teeth at all. Bonding reshapes an edge in one appointment and can be polished away. Straightening the teeth you have often removes the reason anyone considered veneers.
Porcelain is superb where it is genuinely needed — a heavily filled, broken or badly discoloured tooth — but it is not reversible, and we would rather you knew that before rather than after.
- We start with what you dislike, not with a treatment we would like to sell
- The least invasive option that achieves the result is always on the table
- Whitening comes first, so new porcelain is matched to your final shade
- Nothing irreversible happens without you understanding exactly what it involves
Cosmetic dentistry, answered
Common questions
Where should I start if I don't like my smile?
With a consultation rather than a treatment. Tell us what specifically bothers you — the colour, the shape, a gap, one particular tooth — and we will set out the options, including the least invasive one, with costs.
Do I have to have everything done at once?
No. Many of our patients start with whitening alone and go no further, because once the shade evens out the other things bother them less.
Should I whiten before having veneers or crowns?
Always. Porcelain and composite do not lighten later, so we match new work to your final whitened shade rather than your current one.
Will cosmetic work look obvious?
It should not. The aim is teeth that look like yours on their best day — matched in shade, shape and translucency to the teeth beside them.
How much does cosmetic dentistry cost in Peterborough?
Enlighten whitening is £495, crowns and veneers are £650 each, and composite bonding starts from £180. You are given a fully costed plan before anything is booked. See our fees page for the full list.
